In order to be eligible for the program, participants of the Winter Academy must already possess

  • either practical training skills (trainers, facilitators, teachers, and participants with a Basic knowledge of training methods) – Group A
  • or theoretical knowledge on intercultural theories (students enrolled in university studies related to intercultural communication or intercultural competence or participants who have completed their university studies in that field) – Group B *

Upon your registration, you will be asked to describe your theoretical knowledge or your experience in delivering trainings and explain how you did acquire it in a few sentences.

After your registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the address you indicated in the Registration.


* Please note that there are only a few available places for participants with previous theoretical knowledge (Group B), as this group mainly consists of Jacobs University students who have already attended the class “Culture and Cognition”. Therefore we reserve the right to close the registration for participants of Group B once the maximum number of participants has been reached.
